Dear Sir,

As a result of your demand for payment of your bill, dated 20 December 2000 but received 8 January 2001, and continuing failure to appropriately address the problems I have with the service from Telekabel, I am left with no option but to again contact Telekabel under circumstances that should not exist.

Telekabel has consistently failed to provide a reliable phone and internet connection to me, and has also failed to repair damage that was left in my flat from the installation. Although a formal complaint late last year did produce a promise to address the problems I have with Telekabel, nothing more has been done. I am left insulted, offended, and disgusted by the actions of Telekabel. For full information regarding these problems, I refer you to the web pages I have put up on the Chello web server at http://members.chello.at/ian.ballantyne.

It is absolutely clear that Telekabel has no interest what so ever in customer service or in fixing the damage and problems I have had with the service, and that Telekabel is only interested in getting money from customers regardless of the quality of service provided.

What I will make absolutely clear to Telekabel is that as a result of the damage done to my flat left unrepaired, failure to provide a service that is reasonably usable, continuing failure to fix the problems with the service, and failure to honour promises to fix the problems and damage, I will not pay any part of the bills from Telekabel. As there has been unrepaired damage left in my flat from the installation, and as the service has suffered significant problems, I welcome any legal challenge Telekabel may make against me.

I have given Telekabel every opportunity to resolve the problems that exist. I, as always, remain open to Telekabel resolving these problems, and remain fully contactable on my mobile phone, 0676 [number deleted], should Telekabel decide to try to resolve these problems.

Yours faithfully
